Welcome
A Message from Dr. Michael “Mike” Dadson
Dr. Michael “Mike” Dadson, PhD, RCC #1467, CCC, is our Clinical Director and provides clinical leadership at Gentle Currents Therapy. His work in counselling psychology, trauma recovery, clinical supervision, neurofeedback, and the development of the Sequential Trauma Narrative helps shape the clinic’s evidence-informed, trauma-informed approach to care.
In this video, Dr. Dadson introduces the heart of counselling at Gentle Currents Therapy and the importance of meeting each person with dignity, compassion, and hope.

Where to Begin
How We Can Help
People come to Gentle Currents Therapy for many different reasons — the effects of trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, burnout, relationship stress, or life transitions. Others are seeking support for their family, their child, their nervous system, or their professional growth.
Counselling and neurofeedback can support greater self-understanding, emotional regulation, healthier relationships, and a stronger sense of identity and direction. Wherever you begin, our goal is to meet you with respect, clinical care, and genuine human connection.
Who We Are
Our Statement of Care
At Gentle Currents, we believe each person’s story is larger than the difficulties they have experienced. Our Statement of Care explains who we are, why Gentle Currents exists, and how we seek to welcome every person with dignity, compassion, and hope.
Our Professional Team
The People Behind the Care
