How We Can Help

People come to Gentle Currents Therapy for many different reasons. Some are carrying the effects of trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, burnout, relationship stress, or life transitions. Others are seeking support for their family, their child, their nervous system, or their professional growth.

Counselling and neurofeedback can support greater self-understanding, emotional regulation, healthier relationships, and a stronger sense of identity and direction.

Wherever you begin, our goal is to meet you with respect, clinical care, and genuine human connection.

The People Behind the Care

Gentle Currents Therapy grew from the shared vocation of Jeanette Dadson and Dr. Michael “Mike” Dadson, together with a team of clinicians committed to compassionate, evidence-informed care.

Jeanette’s background in nursing, child and youth care, neurofeedback, and relationship-centred support helped shape the heart of Gentle Currents as a safe, respectful, and welcoming place of care.

Dr. Dadson’s work in counselling psychology, trauma recovery, clinical supervision, neurofeedback, and the development of the Sequential Trauma Narrative helps shape the clinic’s trauma-informed clinical depth.

Each clinician at Gentle Currents brings their own training, experience, and areas of focus. Our shared commitment is to meet each person with respect, clinical care, and genuine human connection.

Many people have also shared their experience of care through Dr. Michael Dadson’s Sun Life Lumino Health profile, which includes 300+ five-star reviews for counselling and therapy services.
